10 Million Strong and Growing
Remember those commercials from the 80’s? We are Flintstone Kids, 10 Million Strong, and Growing. . .
Anyone? Anyone? No, just me? Well I have a knack for remembering things that are really silly and not at all useful. In any event, my thought today is on challenging yourself, and again on growth.
I am a member of Ladies Who Launch, a great women’s entrepreneurial network which my lovely and inspired mother turned me on to a while ago. They have a bi-monthly newsletter which I subscribe to and each one features a new woman. This month’s was on a woman named Jen Groover. Her bio was interesting, she obviously a bright business leader. But what I really liked was her philosophy and mindset. So today’s quote comes from her interview.
“If you haven’t been uncomfortable today, you haven’t grown.”
Touche Miss Groover. Touche.
I’ve already practiced my uncomfortable exercise today. I had to stand up for my roomie and myself with our landlord. Not easy for me, but worth doing. Maybe I’ll practice it again later today!
